Bobbi Hoffman

Bobbi has been a successful meeting planner for over sixteen years, gaining expertise and knowledge that only comes from working with a diverse group of clients throughout North America.

Bobbi has been a successful meeting planner for over sixteen years, gaining expertise and knowledge that only comes from working with a diverse group of clients throughout North America. She received her CMP - Certified Meeting Professional designation and completed her CMM - Certificate in Meeting Management and continues to be a lifelong learner. The industry is forever evolving and she definitely wants to be a part of it!

When it comes to planning events, Bobbi is a natural at organizing and managing tasks. It’s like the saying “if you need something done, give it to the busy person”. She truly enjoys working with new clients and delivering successful events - that’s always her ultimate goal.

She is proud to share that through the pandemic, she was able to quickly get up to speed on how to run virtual meetings and developed some great relationships with platform providers. In that light, she is excited to start GEM with a fresh slate and work with clients to produce events we can all be proud of.

Shaina Scrimgeour

Shaina is a driven event planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. She enjoys taking on new challenges and strives to deliver exceptional events.

Shaina is a driven event planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. She enjoys taking on new challenges and strives to deliver exceptional events.

Shaina has over eight years in the industry and has worked in many different areas including food and beverage, wedding planning, medical research meetings and associations. Shaina is fluent in French which is a big asset, especially in work she has done with scientific groups of 3,000+ that have faculty and delegates from around the world.

With face-to-face meetings Shaina has experience in procuring partners and improving return on investment for partners and clients alike. Shaina is dedicated to continuing education. In January 2019, she got her CMP and in April 2020 her COMD. In this new virtual meeting world she has become an expert in all things virtual and is looking at ways to reinvent meetings in-person when the time is right.

Her passion lies in delivering outstanding results and exceeding expectations.

In her spare time Shaina enjoys staying active and volunteering in the industry and her community.
